Hi victoria,
what makes me most happy is to see others with joy and happiness in their lives. I especially love to see my children and grandchildren be happy. I know that trials make us into the people we become. but it is a whole lot easier to face the trials when you have happiness and joy. And faith is an intregal part of happiness. I'm never sure how people who have no faith make it through each day, for with no hope there is no tomorrow.
Smile and be happy, Aunt Debbie

It's very hard for me to truly feel happiness. I guess what really helps, though, are people like you. I've overheard and seen the terrible things that you've gone through in the past year or two. Through all this, you just keep on going. You have the best attitude. I'm not saying my life is a walk in the park, but I don't have the motivation or the audacity to keep a positive attitude at all times like you do so well. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's people like you that give me the inspiration to know that no matter what happens, I just have to keep moving forward. And to see people in situations such as yours doing that makes me feel happy.

Hi Victoria,

Happy....happiness is situational, based on what were doing and how things are going, who we meet. Its a fickle emotion I enjoy very much, however, Im ging to tell you what brings me joy, deep in my soul, a joy only God can give despite what were doing, or our circumstances....the good bad and the ugly.

When Im being prayed for, reading scripture, or listening to a worship song.....that unexplainable feeling of Gods peace and presence, when all around becomes dim, quiet in my heart and mind, and its as though my lifes burdens and the weight on my shoulders is lifted,

I feel at peace with my situation and at peace with God, lifting my heart and hands I praise Him for who He is and what Hes done for me.

Then Joy, the joy of the Lord fills me and waters my soul like a plant, dry and brittle, yet now feeling life, drawing on the water of the Holy Spirit

"Joy unspeakable and full of glory" as the scriptures say.

Happiness and laughter are health to our bodies, and fun. Joy...that is the Joy of the Lord, gives me life and strength when happiness is nowhere in sight and laughter no where to be found, Joy, basking in the prensence of the lord, even in the midst of my most dreaded trials, He gives me His joy.

i think that happiness comes when your eyes are on jesus and all the worldly things become dim and it is you and jesus. there is such peace, contentment, joy, happiness.

I think that true happiness comes from within. What makes me happy is being able to help others, being a doer. Jesus commands us to help our brother and I believe we should do it with a willing heart. Those random acts of kindness type of things, being in the right place at the right time. Seeing a need and being able to act upon it. If a friend has a need being able to help them out.
Faith in God really makes days go better and even though every day may not be great having God on your side makes it bearable.
It also makes me happy to see my children happy. I pray for joy in their lives each day. There is peace in knowing those close to you are doing ok.
Love you Victoria,
Aunt Debbie

Happiness is the sweet smell of spring evolving into summer...the grass, the air, the sunshiney days, the flowers, the many smells that waft into my window as I lay in bed, trapped by Lyme, but I can still smell the beauty.
